Experience the excellent local activities - Golfing, Salmon and Trout Fishing, Horse Racing, Horse Riding (Tuition or Hill/Beach Trekking), Mountain Biking, and Ice Skating.

The Southern Upland Way and St Cuthbert's Way provide wonderful walking/riding, or explore the spectacular Berwickshire and Northumberland coast.

Nearby is Kelso with cobbled streets and interesting local shops, restaurants and pubs. The ancient abbey, gracious town square and beautiful views along the River Tweed may be explored by following the town trail.

Floors Castle, Scotland's largest inhabited house, is magnificent with it's fine architecture, paintings and furniture.

You are ideally situated to visit the historic towns of Melrose, Jedburgh and Coldstream, to name a few, or Edinburgh with it's castle, museums, galleries and theatres is less than an hour by car. Village shop and pub ½ mile.
